So we are over halfway there and my next choice is Charlie Brown by ScienZe featuring Blu. No video available for this one, just close your eyes and imagine it’s summer and you are lying in a field full of daisies.

  1. Normally during the year my teenage daughters’ choice of listening and mine are significantly at odds but there’s usually a couple of tracks where a melding of musical minds happens; this year it was with this huge dancefloor banger – continuing where Plan B’s Strickland Banks left off, a fusion of 90’s Italo/House and Northern Soul…. my number 10 ‘Love Me Again’ by Mr John Newman

  2. I’m not familiar with either of my fellow colleagues choices (which is not necessarily a bad thing) but they will certainly be familiar with my number 10. It was the combination of Richard and 6 Music that kindly brought this to my attention about a year ago. Again, I wasn’t totally convinced on first hearing about the album of the same name, although the more I heard the other two (I think?) singles the more I liked them. However, for me, this was the stand-out offering and I’ll eat my hat if it doesn’t appear at least once more as we get closer to the conclusion of these run-downs. A number 10 that you can trust…

  3. Brilliant choice and definitely the stand-out track on the album. I’m pretty sure this could be the first song to achieve a hat-trick of Top 10’s (and might not be the only one this year !)
